My Experience While Taking Yaz
I took Yaz for four months, in doing so, my life went down hill.
Before taking Yaz, I was a very social, personable, happy,
responsible, fun, caring, loving, professional and
independent woman. My life was going great! I started taking
Yaz birth control for the same reason most women take it, to
prevent pregnancy.
Immediately after taking Yaz, I felt nausea, running to the
bathroom quite often. I slowly began losing my desire to have
a social life. I was content watching t.v. at home in bed. I
became aggressive to the ones close to me. This caused my
dating relationship to deteriorate, resulting in ending the
relationship. I began noticing severe chest pain, indigestion,
rapid heart beat, blurred vision, vision loss, eye twitching
constantly and headaches. After I noticed all of these
problems that started happening to me, it made me aware
that all of this was caused from Yaz. I stopped taking it
immediately.
After a couple weeks of not taking the medication is when the
real problems started happening to me. I began having
severe anxiety and depression causing me to be unable to
perform everyday activities. I've been to the emergency room
twice in one month. I am now taking xanax and paxil because
of this. I cannot eat or cook for myself, I cannot leave my
house, I cannot attend any social functions, I cannot work, I
cannot have a love life, I cannot get out of bed, I cannot stop
crying, I cannot stop sleeping, I cannot stop having panic
attacks, I cannot stop my rapid heart beat, I cannot stop
shaking, I cannot concentrate, I cannot focus, I cannot
remember and I cannot stop feeling like I'm crazy and having
a mental breakdown. This is an awful feeling and experience
to go through!!!
This is why I would like to reach out to the other women who
have had the same or similar side effects as I have.
